The first 11 chapters of the Bible describe the ripples of separation and sin that spread throughout the universe. What would God do? Would he forever abandon his broken creation? Would he destroy it to start again? In Abraham we see God's answer: The story will continue. God will remake his creation, starting with one old man and woman, with no family to call their own. Stay tuned to see how the story unfolds over the next four weeks.

There are times when God's truth makes sense to us, and times when the truth of God's Word seems to be foolishness. We need to do as the psalmist wrote, asking God to lead us so we can walk obediently in His truth. When we obey, we see God's truth revealed in our lives - his truth about us and about him.

David prayed "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth." (Psalm 86:11) The truth revealed in God's Word often brings us to our knees. It is through prayer and conversation with God that we seek God's truth to work in all areas of our lives.

It is in Biblical community that our understanding and implementation of God's truth reaches maturity. This community involves clsoe relationships with believers who know us well, our church family and leaders given us by God, and even the broader church.
